What is "Accredited Therapeutic Grade" (ATG)?

We’re just going to level with you: the whole process behind creating essential oils is pretty confusing. Plus, there are a million oils on the market and many of them make claims about their purity levels that simply aren’t true. It’s important to us that our customers understand exactly where ours come from, how they are produced and why they are different. We hope the following information helps clarify everything for you, and that you feel confident in the EarthsCure promise. THE SOURCE IS CRUCIAL

At Earths Cure, we only work with suppliers that we have spent time with and whose products we know to be high quality.

And that’s only the beginning. The raw materials needed to create our oils must pass through a pretty extensive inspection process. Because the products are each different, the quality control tests are also varied, but in general, our tests adhere to the following:

• Organoleptic assessment (this includes appearance, smell, taste, etc) as appropriate.
• Visual evaluation (color, clarity, presence of foreign materials, etc)
• Specific Gravity (SG)
• Optical Rotation (OP)
• Refractive Index (RI)
• Flash Point (FP)
• Solubility (this is typically in ethanol) and of course, a wide variety of product specific tests.

Rest assured we put our oils through the ringer so that our final product is as pure and as special as possible.

WHAT IS ATG?

"ATG" is a special classification of oils that stands for Accredited Therapeutic Grade. That means that our oils are 100% pure and natural and are produced using plants and flora grown in the best possible places on earth, which ensures they will have the highest therapeutic content possible. We don’t use ­any synthetics or chemicals and the only added ingredients you’ll find in any Earths Cure products are carrier oils, which help with proper skin absorption.

In addition, our oils are GMO free, gluten free, compliant with Proposition 65 which sets Heavy Metal Limits AND they’re made right here in the USA.

And not to get too technical on you, but, our distillation facility is GMP, ISO 9001 and Kosher certified plus it’s FDA Registered, which is important for regulation.

Suffice it to say, there are a lot of fancy words we can use here to describe our purity levels but the best way for you to understand what sets Earths Cure oils apart is simply to try them.
